We sell not merely a piece, but a legacy.

Nous ne vendons pas simplement une œuvre, mais un héritage.

sponsor of Van Gogh Academy

The Van Gogh Academy is led by Wouter van der Veen, Catherine Roth, and Christophe Brochard, whose complementary skills ensure the smooth operation of the organization.

It relies on a vast network of volunteers and service providers, comprising knowledgeable enthusiasts, art and culture professionals, and artists, all driven by a shared love for Van Gogh’s legacy and a constant commitment to excellence in research.

The Van Gogh Academy also benefits from the invaluable support of Alexandre and Raphaël Fonseca, founders of the Galerie de la Vallée de l’Oise in Auvers-sur-Oise.

By sharing their magnificent premises, they provide the Academy with an exceptional setting where it can flourish and grow, fully immersed in the landscapes that inspired Van Gogh.

Our documentary collection brings together works of art, writings, and authentic documents related to the life and work of Vincent van Gogh, including his relationships, influences, inspirations, and health.

We strive to make these sources accessible to anyone interested through an ongoing digitization campaign. As part of the international Van Gogh research community, we collaborate with numerous institutions and organizations that provide reference information on the artist’s life and work.
